PostSubject: Quarter Review of the Kansas City Chiefs   Tue Sep 20, 2016 3:04 pm

5 weeks, 4 games, 2 wins, and 1 bye week. The chief's have been a model of inconsistency. And a lot of that can be blamed on Alex Smith and the offensive line. Smith played very efficient in the week 1 win over the San Diego Chargers and played exceptional in the first half of the Texans game. Although Smith continued to play well the remainder of the game, he did throw 2 intercepyions which wouldn't have been a problem if the defense hadn't layed down against the Texans offense. The score was 17-0 at the half and though Kansas city continued to score points, the defense which had played so well in the first half, couldnt get a stop in the second. The chief's would lose 31-26. One week later against the Jets, the offensive line played atrocious against a very good jets pass rush after playing very well against the Texans front. The offense could not find any stability and the jets would win 17-13. The chief's were not given much of a chance against the talented Steelers after two very inconsistent performances. Justin Houston and company had other ideas. The chief's defense would tally 9 sacks of Big Ben in a 19-18 win featuring great defense. Let's hope that Kris Richard and his coaching staff tightened up the roster and we will see a much more consistent offense and defense.
